The difference between the two types is the valve body.Pneumatic single seat globe control valve is a commonly used type of pneumatic globe control valve.It is powered by compressed air, receives pressure signals from the control system, adjusts the flow rate of the medium in the pipeline based on the signal change rate, and realizes the automation process of production control.The single seat pneumatic globe control valve adopts a straight through single seat ball valve body, while the pneumatic double seat globe control valve adopts a straight through double seat ball valve body. Therefore, two different valve bodies result in differences in the performance and parameters of the two control valves.
Single seated pneumatic globe control valve:
Adopting a top guide unbalanced structure with only one valve seat, it is a semi spherical valve. Therefore, the valve body has a compact structure, high strength, medium load, S-shaped flow channel, small pressure drop loss, large flow coefficient, wide adjustable range, and high accuracy of flow characteristics. Suitable for impermeable liquids and gases with noise within the specified range, able to effectively control high viscosity liquids and slurries. Moreover, the guiding part of the valve plug has a large area and strong seismic performance.Due to a single valve seat, it is not suitable for environments with large media particles that are prone to blockage or high pressure differences. Widely used in construction and general industrial clean water environments.
Double seated pneumatic globe control valve:
It adopts a double seat ball valve body, with a flange port at the bottom of the valve body, which is a double seat. Compared to single seated type, it is easier to maintain, structurally stable, and suitable for high pressure differential environments. It is easy to disassemble and suitable for easily clogged media. Generally speaking, it is suitable for good control under conditions of high reliability, high pressure, large pressure difference, and process conditions where the slurry contained in the fluid medium is prone to blockage. Widely used in industrial fields with complex operating conditions.
Generally speaking, a double seat pneumatic control valve is more stable and reliable in structure than a single seat pneumatic control valve, and is easier to disassemble. Therefore, in more complex environments, dual seat pneumatic control valves are used, but in normal environments, single seat pneumatic control valves can be used.
