The 100 series single-seat regulating valve is a sleeve-guided regulating valve. The fluid channel of the valve body is S-shaped, with small pressure drop loss, large flow, wide adjustable range, high accuracy of flow characteristic curve, large guide area of valve core and good seismic resistance.
The regulating valve is equipped with multi-spring diaphragm actuator, with compact structure and large output force. The valve body has normal temperature type, high temperature type, heat sink type, bellows type, thermal insulation jacket type, etc. The valve core with linear, equal percentage, quick opening and other flow characteristics can be used to control various fluids at different pressures and temperatures.
The regulating valve, also known as the control valve, uses power operation to change the fluid flow by receiving the control signal output by the regulating control unit. The regulating valve is generally composed of actuator and valve. According to the power used by the actuator, the control valve can be divided into three types: pneumatic control valve, electric control valve and hydraulic control valve. In addition, according to their functions and characteristics, there are three types: linear characteristics, equal percentage characteristics and parabolic characteristics.
Type of regulating valve:
There are many kinds of valve bodies for regulating valves. Common valve body types include straight single seat, straight double seat, angle type, diaphragm, small flow, tee, eccentric rotation, butterfly, sleeve, spherical, etc. When making specific choices, please consider the following:
(1) Spool shape and structure
It is mainly based on the selected flow characteristics and unbalanced force.
(2) Abrasion resistance
When the fluid medium is a suspension containing high concentration of abrasive particles, the internal material of the control valve should be hard.
(3) Corrosion resistance
As the medium is corrosive, try to select the control valve with simple structure.
(4) Temperature and pressure of medium
When the temperature and pressure of the medium are high and change greatly, the valve core and valve seat material with small temperature and pressure change shall be selected. When the temperature is ≥ 250 ℃, a radiator shall be installed.
(5) Prevent flash and cavitation
Flash and cavitation only occur in liquid medium. In the actual production process, flashing and cavitation will cause vibration and noise and shorten the service life of the valve. Therefore, when selecting the regulating valve, prevent the valve from flashing and cavitation.
Regulating valve actuator:
In order to make the regulating valve work normally, the equipped actuator must be able to produce enough output force to ensure high sealing and valve opening. For double-acting pneumatic, hydraulic and electric actuators, there is generally no return spring. The magnitude of the force is independent of its direction of operation. Therefore, the key to select the actuator is to understand the output force and rotating torque of the motor. For single-acting pneumatic regulating valve, the output force is related to the opening of the valve, and the force appearing on the regulating valve will also affect its motion characteristics, so it is necessary to establish force balance within the opening range of the regulating valve.
After determining the output power of the regulating valve, select the corresponding regulating valve according to the requirements of the process environment. For on-site explosion-proof requirements, pneumatic actuator shall be selected. From the perspective of energy conservation, electric actuators should be used as much as possible. If the adjustment accuracy is high, hydraulic actuator can be selected. Such as the speed regulation of the transparent machine in the power plant, and the temperature regulation and control of the reactor in the catalytic unit in the refinery.
The action mode of the regulating valve is only available when the pneumatic actuator is selected. Its action mode is formed by the combined action of the positive and negative action of the actuator and the positive and negative action of the valve. There are four combinations: positive (air closed), positive and negative (air open), arbitrary (air open) and reverse (air closed). The action modes of the regulating valve formed by these four combinations are open and close.
