The pneumatic control valve is characterized by simple control, fast response,safety and no need for additional explosion-proof measures.Pneumatic control valves are one of the industrial process control instruments widely used in industrial enterprises such as petroleum, chemical, power, and metallurgy. Usually a combination instrument composed of a pneumatic actuator and a globe control valve connected, installed, and debugged.
The purpose and characteristics of pneumatic control valves:
1. The purpose is a right angle rotating structure, which can be matched with a valve positioner to achieve proportional adjustment; The V-shaped valve plug is suitable for various adjustment occasions, with a large rated flow coefficient, large adjustable ratio, good sealing effect, sensitive adjustment performance, small volume, and can be installed vertically. Suitable for controlling media such as gases, vapors, liquids, etc.
2. Features: It is a right angle rotating structure, composed of V-shaped valve body, pneumatic actuator, locator and other accessories; Pneumatic control valves have inherent flow characteristics; Adopting a dual bearing structure, with low starting torque, high sensitivity and induction speed.
3. The pneumatic control valve uses compressed air as the power source, and the movement of the piston drives the crank arm to rotate 90 degrees, causing the valve to automatically open and close. Its components include: adjusting bolts, actuator box, crank arm, cylinder body, cylinder shaft, piston, connecting rod, and universal shaft.
4. The working principle of pneumatic control valve: The pneumatic control valve is composed of an actuator and a regulating mechanism. The actuator is the thrust component of the regulating valve, which generates corresponding thrust based on the pressure of the control signal and drives the regulating mechanism to move. The valve body is the regulating element of a pneumatic control valve, which directly contacts the regulating medium to regulate the flow rate of the fluid.
Installation principle of pneumatic control valve:
(1)The installation position of the pneumatic control valve needs to be at a certain height from the ground, and there should be a certain amount of space left above and below the valve to facilitate valve disassembly and maintenance. For control valves equipped with pneumatic valve positioners and handwheels, it is necessary to ensure easy operation, observation, and adjustment.
(2)The pneumatic control valve should be installed on a horizontal pipeline, vertically above and below the pipeline. Support should generally be provided below the valve to ensure stability and reliability. For special occasions, when the control valve needs to be installed horizontally on a vertical pipeline, the control valve should also be used in conjunction (except for small diameter regulating valves). During installation, avoid adding additional pressure to the control valve.
(3)The working environment temperature of the pneumatic control valve should be (-30~60℃), and the relative humidity should not exceed 95%.
(4)There should be a straight pipe section in the front and rear positions of the control valve, with a length not less than 10 times the pipe diameter (10D), to avoid the valve's straight pipe section being too short and affecting the flow characteristics.
(5)When the diameter of the pneumatic control valve is different from the diameter of the process pipeline, a reducing pipe should be used for connection. When installing a small diameter control valve, threaded connections can be used. The fluid direction arrow on the valve body should be consistent with the fluid direction.
(6)Set up bypass pipelines. The purpose is to facilitate switching or manual operation, and to maintain the control valve without the need for shutdown.
(7)Before installing the pneumatic control valve, it is necessary to thoroughly remove foreign objects such as dirt, welding slag, etc. from the pipeline.
