200 Series Prssure Balanced Cage type control valve can be applied to relatively large size valves and has been designed and manufactured to control the flow of high temperature and high differential pressure fluids in extreme process piplines.
Its "S" type body and guide wing improving smooth flow of the fluid around the cage provides small pressure drop loss, allowing large flow capacity, wide adjustment range, high accuracy flow characteristics, good dynamic stability, low noise and small cavitation corrosion.
The standard actuators are multi-spring diaphragm actuator with compact structure and large output force.There are standard temperature type, high temperature type, heat sink type, corrugated pipe type, insulation jacket type, etc. for valve bodies.
Units that have not performed predictive maintenance on the globe control valve shall calibrate the valve regularly. Regular calibration is preventive maintenance. According to different production processes, the regular calibration of globe control valves should have different calibration cycles. The periodic calibration cycle of each globe control valve can be determined by combining the data provided by the manufacturer. Usually, it can be carried out simultaneously with maintenance during the production process. When certain globe control valves are used in high-pressure, high-pressure drop, or highly corrosive situations, the inspection cycle should be shortened. The main inspection content is the static performance test of the globe control valve.If necessary, corresponding test items can be added, such as the flow characteristic test of the globe control valve. Regular calibration requires relevant testing equipment and instruments, as well as replacement parts. Therefore, manufacturers can usually be entrusted to complete the task.
Maintenance of globe control valves:
Globe control valve maintenance is divided into emergency maintenance, regular maintenance and predictive maintenance. Emergency maintenance refers to the maintenance when the globe control valve fails and cannot meet the process operation requirements. Regular maintenance usually includes both routine maintenance and maintenance carried out simultaneously with process downtime maintenance. Predictive maintenance is targeted maintenance of relevant control valve components based on the analysis results of predictive maintenance. Emergency maintenance refers to the maintenance after the failure of the globe control valve, while regular maintenance and predictive maintenance refer to the maintenance before the failure of the globe control valve. Usually, the daily maintenance of globe control valves are carried out by instrument maintenance staff, while regular maintenance carried out simultaneously with major repairs is carried out by manufacturing technicians.
The daily inspection and maintenance of control valves include the following contents:
1、Eliminate pressure. Various pressure caused by improper installation or assembly. For example, high-temperature media generates thermal stress and is tightly installed.The imbalance of solid forces leads to stress, etc. Unbalanced stress acts on the control valve, causing deformation of the valve stem and guide components, preventing proper alignment with the valve seat, resulting in leakage and worsening of deterioration.
2、Remove rust and dirt. Regularly check if there is rust, welding slag, dirt, etc. inside the connecting pipe of the control valve, and promptly remove them if found.Because these dirt can cause wear on the regulating valve plug and valve seat, affecting the normal operation of the regulating valve. Generally, filters and other filtering devices can be installed in front of the regulating valve and cleaned regularly.
3、Check the control valve trim. The control valve trim keeps the components of the control valve in a position that is not affected by gravity, etc. If not properly supported, the valve stem and seat of the control valve will not be aligned, which will increase deterioration and reduce sealing performance. Therefore, it is necessary to check whether the support of the control valve is suitable.
4、Clean up air sources, hydraulic oil, and other pollutants that supply energy. Air and hydraulic sources are the energy sources for globe control valve operation.Impurities contained in the compressed air and hydraulic oil of instruments can clog the ports and pipelines, leading to malfunctions. Therefore, it is very important to regularly check the air source and hydraulic oil, and regularly drain the filtration device.
5、Inspection of gear transmission.The gear transmission devices of the handwheel mechanism, electric actuator, and hydraulic actuator should be regularly inspected and lubricated to prevent jamming. Check if the brake and limit device are flexible and convenient to use.
