Details
The steam pressure reducing valve regulates the flow rate of the medium by controlling the opening and closing parts inside the valve body, thereby reducing the pressure of the medium. At the same time, adjust the opening of the opening and closing parts through the pressure behind the valve to maintain the pressure behind the valve at a certain level. Within this range, when the inlet pressure constantly changes, maintain the outlet pressure within the set range to protect subsequent household and production appliances. Steam pressure reducing valves are generally installed horizontally and controlled by the pressure behind the valve. When the pressure sensor detects an increase in the valve pressure indicator, the valve opening of the pressure reducing valve decreases; When the pressure of the pressure reducing valve is detected, the valve opening of the pressure reducing valve increases to meet the control requirements.
The main functions of the steam pressure reducing valve are as follows:
1. Could provide different working pressures for different equipment;
2. Under saturated steam conditions, the steam temperature is controlled by controlling the steam pressure;
3. Decompression can provide a larger proportion of steam latent heat, and the lower the pressure, the greater the latent heat;
4. Low pressure use reduces the heat contained in condensate water and reduces the loss of secondary steam;
5. Higher steam dryness after pressure reduction;
6. Safety needs.
In summary, the steam pressure reducing valve plays an important role in the normal operation of the steam system. The correct use of pressure reducing valves affects the stable operation of the system. Therefore, we need to pay attention to the following issues during use:
1. When the steam flow rate change ratio is greater than 10:1, a pressure reducing valve should be installed in parallel;
2. When the pressure reducing ratio exceeds 10:1, a pressure reducing valve should be installed in series;
3. Install a 100 mesh filter in front of the steam pressure reducing valve and ensure correct installation;
4. When reducing the diameter before and after the steam pressure reducing valve, an eccentric size head should be used;
5. The steam pressure reducing valve should be installed horizontally and ensure that the direction of steam flow is consistent with the arrow direction of the valve body;
6. Install the sensing tube correctly;
7. Increase the downstream pipe diameter of the pressure reducing valve to prevent flow blockage;
8. Traps and steam water separators should be installed before and after the steam pressure reducing valve;
9. If a bypass valve needs to be installed, it should be installed above the pipeline, with the same diameter as the pressure reducing valve.
